A press conference by the Undersecretary of Health

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Tawfiq Al-Dirsi, held a press conference in Tripoli Thursday on the latest developments in the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus and the health sector.
Al-Dirsi stated that hospitals are suffering from a severe shortage of medicines, equipment and supplies, and a budget will be allocated and distributed to the targeted hospitals according to a specific mechanism.
He said that a committee will be formed to oversee the budget which will be divided into two parts, the first will be distributed next week and the second part within a month.
Al-Dirsi confirmed that an increase in Coronavirus cases was observed, stressing the stability of the situation at the present time. He said that that public hospitals are fully prepared, urging citizens to take the vaccinations available in all vaccination centers.
