The General Authority for Monitoring Media Content says some local radio stations use hate speech

The General Authority for Monitoring Media Content said that it had monitored hate speech, incitement and media misinformation on social media by a number of local radio stations.

The Authority urged the radio stations to use social media in a proper way that does not violate local laws and international covenants signed by Libya.

It demanded the violating radio stations to investigate the accuracy, objectivity and validity of the information before publishing it and to correct it when an error is found.
