Al-Lafi meets the Ambassador of Switzerland to Libya

Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Libya, Josef Renggli, in Tripoli on Wednesday.

The two sides discussed the bilateral relations and the political process in Libya.

Al-Lafi appreciated the prominent role played by Switzerland in supporting and hosting the Libyan political dialogue rounds, with the aim of achieving stability and security in Libya, stressing the importance of developing the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Swiss ambassador affirmed his country’s endeavor to reopen the Swiss embassy in Tripoli in the near future, in order to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
