The Coronavirus Isolation Center 1 in Al-Khoms suspended work

The Coronavirus Isolation Center 1 in Al-Khoms city suspended its work due to the lack of medical supplies.

The center has an intensive care unit that can accommodate 10 patients, and a treatment section with 48 beds, in addition to a special section for monitoring pregnancy and childbirth cases.

The medical supervisor at the center, Abdul-Monem Al-Shawesh, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the Ministry of Health had completely neglected the medical staff and did not pay their dues, which forced them to leave work.

He added that the center stopped receiving cases, as only five nurses are still working.
