Attack on the Independence Hospital in Tripoli

A shell landed on Monday, April 06, in the vicinity of the Independence Hospital in Al-Hadba Al-Khadra district of Tripoli.
The shell damaged a number of cars parked in front of the emergency department and burned the car of one of the medical staff.
The residence of a Bangladeshi worker behind the hospital was also hit by a shell causing an injury to his leg and hand.
The spokesperson for the Field Medicine and Support Centre, Malik Marsit, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that a safe corridor was made to evacuate the patients from the hospital to Tripoli Central Hospital, while other cases that can return home were allowed to leave.
