A former official at the Customs Authority arrested

The Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered the detention of the former director of the Follow-up Department at the Customs Authority on alleged corruption charges.

Initial investigations showed that the former director deliberately embezzled hundreds of thousands of foreign currency.
