12 parties present an initiative to solve the political crisis

More than 15 Libyan parties held their second meeting with a group of members of the High Council of State in Tripoli on Tuesday.

The meeting came after an initiative by 12 parties to resolve the political crisis in the country.

During their meeting, the participants decided to form a joint technical committee between party members and members of the High Council of State to study and develop the initiative.

The First Vice-President of the High Council of State Naji Mukhtar told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the initiative aims to address the political crisis and provide solutions, and help Libyan institutions to get out of the current political situation.

Mukhtar added that there are some observations about this initiative, noting that the High Council of State cannot give solutions apart from others in this geography, which represents more than 70% of Libya’s population.
