The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) launched on Wednesday the Human Development Report for the year 2021-2022, in partnership with the National Council for Economic and Social Development.
The report dealt with human development issues and the most prominent growth indicators.
It also presented the Human Development Index which is a summary measure for assessing long-term progress in three core areas of human development: a long and healthy life, access to knowledge and a decent standard of living. Libya is placed in the “high human development” category, ranking 104th among 191 countries.
The Head of the Governance and Rule of Law Team at the United Nations Development Program in Libya, Issam Qarbaa, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the Human Development Report dealt with three main elements: health, education, and the standard of living.
