The Minister of Transport receives the Italian Ambassador

The Minister of Transport, Milad Matouq, received at his office in Tripoli the Italian Ambassador, Giuseppe Buccino.

The Embassy’s Commercial Attaché and Head of the Transport Projects Implementation Agency attended the meeting.

The meeting followed up the latest developments related to the projects to be implemented by Italian companies.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the passenger terminal project at Tripoli International Airport and the ongoing preparations at the site to enable the Italian contractor to start working on the project.

They also discussed the projects related to the development of Zuwara Sea Port and the new Imsad-Ras Ajdir highway project.

The ambassador expressed his full readiness to assist in the implementation of these projects, according to the agreed timetables, and to provide all facilities for the implementation of these projects in accordance with the concluded contracts.
