The Minister of Justice received the Dutch ambassador

The Minister of Justice received in his office in Tripoli the Ambassador of the Netherlands, in the presence of the ministry’s advisers and the second secretary of the Dutch embassy.
The meeting reviewed the bilateral cooperation programs in the field of justice development and raising the capacities of members of the judiciary.
The meeting also touched on the developments taking place in the country in light of the activation of the political, security and economic tracks of Berlin process.
The Minister stressed the need for transitional justice as it provides mechanisms to address the grievances and violations that Libya witnessed over the past decades to ensure the prosecution of those responsible for violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.
The Dutch ambassador stressed the importance of advancing the legal path within the Berlin process and that human rights be present in all political and security tracks.
