The Libya Human Rights Prize ceremony held in Al-Bayda

The Libya Human Rights Prize ceremony was held in Al-Bayda city under the supervision of the National Council for Freedoms and Human Rights, which is affiliated with the Libyan House of Representatives.

40 persons working in the field of humanitarian and voluntary work were nominated for the prize and only five were selected for the finals.

The Judging Committee awarded the 2020 Libya Human Rights Prize to a Libyan businessman who had a role in treating Libyan patients with chronic diseases abroad.
