The head of UNSMIL visited Russia to discuss the Libyan situations

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, met with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Jan Kubis, in Moscow to discuss the Libyan file.

A statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that both sides exchanged views on the current military and political situations in Libya, including preparations for the national elections scheduled for December 24 and assistance in implementing the ceasefire agreement.
