The Government of National Unity issues a resolution on the children of Libyan women married to foreigners

The Government of National Unity issued Resolution No. 902 of 2022, regarding the children of Libyan women married to foreigners.

The resolution stipulated in its first article that this category of children enjoy all the rights enjoyed by a Libyan citizen, including free treatment and education at home and admission to Libyan schools abroad.

The second article exempted these children from the requirement to obtain a Libyan visa when they enter Libyan territory.

The resolution also asked Libyan embassies and consulates abroad to provide them with service similar to Libyan citizens.
