The Head of UNSMIL arrived in Tobruk to meet Al-Menfi

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammad Al-Menfi, met with the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Jan Kubis, in Tobruk on Thursday.

Kubis briefed Al-Menfi on the work of the UNSMIL to support the political process in Libya.

The two sides reviewed the practical steps to implement the national reconciliation program, the ceasefire, and UN Security Council Resolution No. 2570.

They also discussed the ongoing efforts to hold the elections on December 24th.
