The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the delay in appointing a new special representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, told Sputnik on Friday that international efforts to help to the Libyans in overcoming the consequences of the devastating and bloody political military crisis must be coordinated by the United Nations effectively.
She indicated that the unjustified delay in appointing a new special representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya instead of Ghassan Salame, who left his post in March of this year, is a matter of concern.
