Municipal elections held in Garabulli

The municipal elections for the town of Garabulli in east Tripoli was held on Saturday.

The head of the subcommittee for the municipal elections of Garabulli, Ibrahim Al-Gadi, told the Libyan Could News Agency that the electoral process started at 9 o’clock in the morning and continued until seven in the evening.

He said that the total number of voters reached 13,500. There were 12 polling centers and 36 stations.

The electoral process run smoothly and preventive measures against Covid-19 have been taken, according to Al-Gadi.
