Members of House of Representatives hold press conference in Tripoli

A number of members of the House of Representatives (HOR) for the western region and residents of Tripoli held a press conference on Monday. They talked about a preparatory session concerning the official meeting to be held in Tripoli on Thursday, May 2. They informed to have completed their discussion in the preparatory meeting and to have agreed to send an official invitation to the rest of the HOR members under this statement to attend a formal meeting. It will be held at the House of Representatives.

The meeting will be held on the basis of Articles 16 and 18 of the Libyan political agreement signed in the Moroccan city of Skhirat in 2015. The MPs also agreed on an agenda that included a set of points that would be discussed at the official session.
