Libyan Foreign Minister visits Malta

The Maltese President George Vella held a meeting with Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al-Manqoush at the Grandmaster’s Palace in Valletta on Saturday.
The visit of Al-Manqoush to Malta comes at the invitation of President Vella to commemorate the establishment of historical relations between Libya and Malta on June 11, 1964.
Vella expressed the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, stressing his support for peace and stability efforts in Libya.
Al-Manqoush also met with her counterpart Ian Borg and reviewed with him the latest political developments in Libya and the region, in addition to ways to enhance prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in several fields.
