Egyptian Foreign Minister and UN envoy to Libya discussed Libyan situations

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, held discussions with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Jan Kubis, on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers of neighboring countries of Libya, hosted by Algeria on Monday.

Both sides discussed ways to move the various tracks of the Libyan file forward.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ahmed Hafez, said in a statement that the two sides also discussed ways to advance a comprehensive political settlement that preserves the resources of the Libyan people and meets their aspirations for stability and development.
