Egypt and Tunisia agreed on the need to resolve the Libyan crisis

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call with his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saeed, to discuss the Libyan crisis.

A statement by the Egyptian presidency said that two sides agreed on the need to intensify coordination to resolve the crisis.

They affirmed their keenness to restore stability in Libya by withdrawing foreign forces and holding elections at the end of the year according to the road map sponsored by the United Nations.
