5,385 candidates registered for the parliamentary elections

The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has ended the registration process for the parliamentary elections, saying that the total number of candidates in all electoral districts reached 5,385.

The HNEC added that the documents of the candidates will now be examined, in accordance with the electoral laws.
