Tripoli University employees demand higher salaries

The staff of the University of Tripoli organized a protest in front of the university headquarters on Sunday. They demanded the Ministry of Education and officials to increase their salaries.

The head of the union of employees of the University of Tripoli, Shaaban Ambiya, says that this prostest came after several meetings with several bodies including Parliament and previous and current governments, and the Minister of Education. But to no agreement was found and the employees were protesting on this situation and demanding an increase in salaries.
