Protesters in the old city of Tripoli demand the release of some of the city’s residents

The residents of the old city of Tripoli held a protest at Bab Al-Jadeed Square on Tuesday.

The protesters called on the Head of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Menfi and the Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba to intervene for the release of some of the city’s residents.

They demanded in a statement the responsible authorities to announce the fate of detained residents and to clarify the reason for their detention, stressing that they will not let down the prisoners until their release.
