Municipality of Sirte calls for intervention to save the city and compensate owners of damaged homes

The mayor of Sirte, Mukhtar al-Mudani, said that 3,000 families from Sirte were staying outside the house as a result of the destruction of their houses during the battle of the fortified structure. He called on everyone to intervene to save Sirte and compensate the owners of their damaged houses.

Mukhtar explained that the amount that will flow to the Council during the past two years has not exceeded 4.5 million. He pointed out that the payment of compensation to the people of Sirte first.
