The General Director of Tripoli Central Hospital arrested

The General Director of Tripoli Central Hospital has been referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigations on charges of mismanagement.
A committee made up of inspectors from the Food and Drug Control Center, accompanied by the Municipal Guard and Deterrence Force, made a field visit on Tuesday to Tripoli Central Hospital to make sure that the requirements of health standards are applied.
The inspectors recorded, during their tour inside the hospital’s departments and stores, a set of violations including poor hygiene and expired medications.
The inspectors also noted the apparent negligence of those in charge of the hospital’s management towards the patients and medical staff.
