Over 2 million doses of 2 Sinopharm vaccine arrived in Tripoli

2,260 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm Coronavirus vaccine arrived in Tripoli on Monday.
The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, and the Minister of Health Ali Al-Zanati were at the airport to receive the shipment.
Al-Dabaiba confirmed in a press conference that another shipment would arrive on Tuesday, estimated at 800 thousand doses of the same vaccine, expecting that another half a million doses will arrive in the near future.
Al-Dabaiba called on citizens to go to the vaccination centers and take the vaccine because it is the only way for protection against the virus.
In turn, the Minister of Health announced a decrease in the rates of infections from 68% to 24% during the past three days, as a result of the preventive measures that were taken by the government.
