The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received the British Chargé d’Affairs

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Omran Al-Qeeb, held discussions with the Chargé d’Affairs of the British Embassy in Libya, Kate English, in Tripoli on Wednesday.
Both sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research and ways to activate cooperation agreements in the field of teaching English.
The relevant departments of the ministry presented the problems and difficulties that the Libyan student faces in Britain.
Al-Qeeb told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that he discussed with English the important aspects of cooperation with the United Kingdom in the field of higher education and scientific research, in addition to granting visas to students who wish to complete their higher education in the United Kingdom.
English expressed her thanks and appreciation for the good reception, noting that she had heard the ministry’s plans to send more students for the purpose of higher education abroad and expressed her country’s welcome to implement this program and receive Libyan students next autumn.
