The Central Bank of Libya released a new five-dinar banknote

The Central Bank of Libya held a celebration on Monday to introduce a new banknote of five dinars.
The head of the Currency Printing Committee, Abdul-Latif Al-Tounsi, said that this new issue coincides with the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the February 17 revolution and it will be officially circulated starting from next Wednesday.
He noted that the new banknote is made of polymer and it has specifications that make it very difficult to counterfeit.
The director of the Issuance Department, Milood Al-Fartas, said that the color of the new banknote is light brown and grey with a size of 136 x 68 mm, adding that the front side contains a picture of the clock tower, and in the back is the picture of Cyrene ruins.
