A meeting held in Milan to discuss offshore gas supply project

The National Oil Corporation, Eni Oil Company and Mellitah Oil and Gas Company held a joint meeting in Milan city in Italy.
The meeting followed up on the development of offshore blocks (A, E) project, which is among the strategic projects targeted for implementation according to the exploration and production partnership agreements.
The project aims to avoid any shortage of gas to supply the local and international market according to the concluded agreements, which entails penal fines on Libya in case it failed to fulfill its contractual obligations to supply gas.
The attendees reviewed through a visual presentation the basic and advanced engineering designs for the project in addition to the problems that may obstruct the work.
