110 trainees graduated from the Libyan-Korean Institute

A ceremony was held in Tripoli on Saturday, June 26, to celebrate the graduation of the first 110 trainees from the Libyan-Korean Institute.

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, the Minister of Civil Service Abdel-Fattah Al-Khoja, the Minister of State for Women’s Affairs Horeya Termal, the Korean and German ambassadors and the representatives of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)  attended the ceremony.

The ceremony included a mini-exhibition for the production of trainees during this year, as well as a visual presentation of the training stages at the center.

The training disciplines included welding, building and construction, carpentry, smartphone maintenance, electricity, food making, and sewing.

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the training courses targeted school and university graduates, stressing that foreign companies in Libya should recruit national workers after training according to the law.
