New government decision regarding the Coronavirus Indian variant

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba issued a new decision related to preventive measures to confront the Coronavirus Indian variant.

In the decision, Al-Dabaiba called for commitment to the preventive measures including social distancing, hand washing, and wearing masks.

He ordered the Ministry of Health to increase readiness at the isolation centers and increase number of PCR tests for local people to detect any outbreak of the Indian variant.

He also urged media organizations, social media platforms, schools and imams of Friday prayer to raise awareness to inform and educate people about the danger of this virus
