The Ministry of Health launched an initiative to reopen the coastal road

The Minister of Health of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Zanati, announced on Wednesday the launch of the “Power of Hope” initiative to reopen the coastal road for humanitarian purposes.

Al-Zanati said in a press conference in Tripoli that the initiative aims to facilitate the movement of sick people and the transfer of dead bodies, medicines and medical gases.

He added that technical arrangements are being worked on to put the initiative into effect, and to reopen the humanitarian corridor between Tripoli and Sirte, in cooperation with the relevant authorities represented by the 5 + 5 Military Committee.
