GNAMinister of Foreign Affairs received UNSMIL Coordinator

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohammad Sayala, received in Tripoli on Sunday the Assistant Secretary-General and Coordinator of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Raisedon Zenenga.

The two sides discussed the latest situations in Libya and the Libyan political dialogue process, in addition to the role of UNSMIL in establishing security and stability in Libya.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations selected Zenenga for this position in late December 2020 for his long experience in the political and diplomatic field and his competence in dealing with countries hit by conflicts.
