Russian Foreign Minister and deputy head of the Presidential Council meet in Moscow

The deputy head of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteeq, discussed with Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, in Moscow on Friday the bilateral relations and the political process in Libya.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that both sides also discussed the ceasefire that aims to create favorable conditions for advancing the political process among the Libyans.

The ministry added that Lavrov emphasized the readiness of Russian companies to resume their activities in Libya after the return of the military and political situation in Libya to normal.
