480,000 tramadol pills seized at Benghazi Seaport

The Customs Office at Benghazi Seaport has seized a shipping container loaded with tramadol pills of Indian origin.
The head of the Investigation Department at the Customs Office, Omar Zoubi, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency, that the customs clearance documents indicated that the container contained toilet tissue paper, but the weight of the container, which was 18 tons, raised suspicions.
He added that when the container was opened, they found toilet tanks and around 480,000 tramadol pills hidden inside them.
He concluded that they destroyed the seized tramadol pills after taking permission form the Office of Public Prosecutions.
