Winners of Voice of Goodness Award named

A ceremony to announce the winners of the Voice of Goodness Award was held on Sunday, December 29 at the Faculty of Arts and Information at the University of Tripoli.
The Libyan Organization for Combating Violence and Hate Speech organized the ceremony.
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Information, the Executive Director and members of the organization, representatives of local radio stations, journalists and writers attended the ceremony.
The judges of the award selected 10 winners from different regions of Libya for their prominent and humanitarian role in combating violence and hate speech.
During the ceremony, a member of the organization, Younis al-Fanadi, presented a research paper on the monitoring of hate speech in a number of radio stations in Tripoli from 2012 to 2016.
The Executive Director of the organization, Jalal Othman, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the nominees for the prize must be influential in social media and active against hate speech through seminars and workshops.
The Voice of Goodness Award was established in 2017 to support social peace.
