A traditional festival held in Tripoli

The 6th season of Swabeet Al Yasameen Festival was held in Tripoli on Thursday, December 26, in the presence of a number of artists, poets and local families.

The festival started with an art exhibition of fine art, calligraphy and paintings that depicted the Old Town of Tripoli with its streets and prominent landmarks.

The festival displayed the traditional costume of Tripoli and the food, sweets and jewellery that the city is famous for.

It also included a traditional dress show and a music party.
