No flights to and from Mitiga International Airport during the day

The Airport Authority has announced that flights to and from the airport will continue to be partially suspended during daylight hours.

The airport is open to air traffic between 17:00 and 06:00 only.

Mitiga airport was bombed on Monday. The announcement was made out of fear of repeated bombing of the airport. 2014 Tripoli international airport was attacked. Mitiga airport is the only working airport in Tripoli.
