Training of 130 micro-entrepreneurs in Sabha and Al-Katroun

The closing ceremony of the training courses in support of micro-enterprises in Sabha and Al-Katroun was held at the Popular Theater in Sabha on Saturday afternoon.

The training was organized by the Association of Life Makers and sponsored by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). It targeted 130 trainees. “We have held a closing ceremony for two groups of trainees in micro projects. One group was supported by the German government and the other group by the Swiss government”, said Omar Iwaidat, assessment and follow-up assistant at the International Organization for Migration. “We have handed over the certificates, according to the activities – such as sewing workshop and repair shop for tires, razors and other small professions. We aim to develop and clarify their vision and to exploit the financial and administrative resources and how to arrange their project sustainably.”
