Seminar to introduce upcoming electoral process to municipal councils

The Central Elections Committee held a dialogue seminar aimed at optimizing the electoral process for the municipal councils. Civil society organizations opened the way for a discussion among them to form the model idea for the upcoming electoral process took part as well as the Civil Status Department reviewing the division of municipalities and developing the voter registration system.

The head of the Central Elections Committee, Salim bin Taiah, said that they discussed the foundations and controls in the electoral system in relation to national affairs.
