Libya and Italy celebrate Friendship Day

A celebration was held in Tripoli on Saturday to mark the Libyan-Italian Friendship Day.

Member of the Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, the mayor of the Tripoli Municipality attended the celebration, in addition to the Ambassador of Italy, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, the Ambassador of Spain and the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of Japan.

The celebration aimed to consolidate the Libyan-Italian friendship and strengthen cultural relations between the two countries.

The Antiquities Authority and the Italian Embassy organized the celebration under the auspices of the Presidential Council.
