Libyan Red Crescent Tripoli commemorates the 61st anniversary

Members of the Libyan Red Crescent celebrated the 61st anniversary of its establishment in 1957 in Libya on Sunday. The celebration took place in the theater of the Institute of Gamal El Din in Tripoli.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Tripoli Department, Yousef Bin Yusuf, a group of veterans and volunteers and a number of guests.

The program included speeches on the occasion, the Red Crescent, the work of the volunteers and the presentation of some of their works through a photographic exhibition, and a play entitled “Human Pause”.

At the end of the ceremony, a donation shield was presented from the Red Crescent branch of Tripoli to the volunteers in honor of their efforts.
