Al-Sayeh and Williams review the current situations in Libya

The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, held a meeting on Sunday with the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams.

The two sides reviewed the current situations in Libya and the Commission’s readiness to hold the elections as soon as possible.

They also assessed the technical and advisory support provided by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and the United Nations Development Program in Libya (UNDP) to the HNEC and agreed to continue providing the necessary support to implement the electoral process.
