The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Adel Jumaa held a press briefing in Tripoli on Tuesday on the adopted procedures of the government for the holy month of Ramadan.

Jumaa said that the Central Bank of Libya had paid the salaries of March for all state workers, noting that the scholarship allowance for students studying abroad for the months of January, February and March will be transferred to their accounts during this week.

He also indicated that the Central Bank has also disbursed children’s allowances for the months of January, February and March, confirming that allowances for the next six months will be disbursed in advance early next week.

Jumaa added that the Ministries of Social Affairs and Finance agreed to disburse rent allowances for the displaced people for a period of six months within this week.
