25 million dinars embezzled from Misrata Customs Office

The Attorney General’s Office has set up an investigation into the embezzlement of funds from the bank account of Misrata Customs Office.
The investigators identified the embezzlers and issued an arrest warrant for them.
The offenders, who included a group of company owners and nine customs officers, managed to embezzle 25 million dinars from the bank account of Misrata Customs Office by forging documents.
The investigators managed to refund 7 million dinars out of the total value.
