Sonatrach is preparing to resume work in Libya

The Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach Oil Company of Algeria, Toufik Hakkar, said that the company is preparing to resume its activities in Libya.

Hakkar indicated that the company is working with its partners in Libya to create conditions for the safe return of workers and equipment, adding that visits will be organized before the end of next February to negotiate the return of Sonatrach to Libya.

He concluded that Sonatrach has made important investments in the field of oil and gas exploration, and it will not leave these explorations without development.
