Deputy Foreign Minister for Expatriate Affairs follows up on the conditions of Libyan prisoners in Italy

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Expatriate Affairs, Imhemmed Zeidan, held a meeting with the Libyan Ambassador to Italy, Omar Al-Tarhouni, to follow up on the conditions of Libyan prisoners in Italian prisons.

Both sides stressed the importance of following up on the conditions of the prisoners and providing the necessary assistance to them. They also discussed the mechanisms for providing financial support to the prisoners and overcoming the difficulties and obstacles that may encounter them.

They also discussed the practical mechanisms to mitigate the court sentences or transfer the prisoners to complete the rest of their sentences in reform and rehabilitation centers in Libya.
