A meeting to assess ICRC activities in Libya held in Tripoli

The International Organizations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Libya held a joint meeting in Tripoli.

The ICRC delegation gave a briefing on its activities, international humanitarian law, the establishment of the mission in Libya, and its role during armed conflicts, in addition to its role in building post-war capacities.

Both sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation, and assessed the activities of ICRC in Libya during the past years.
