Egyptian President received Libyan Prime Minister

The President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, met with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, in Cairo on Thursday, in the presence of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly and the Chief of General Intelligence, Abbas Kamel.

El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt attaches the highest priority to restoring stability to Libya and enabling it to restore its regional and international role, expressing Egypt’s firm position towards respecting Libyan sovereignty, preserving its territorial integrity, cohesion of Libyan national institutions, unifying the Libyan National Army, and rejecting all forms of foreign interference in its internal affairs.

For his part, the Al-Dabaiba called for developing and strengthening relationship between both countries and benefiting from the Egyptian experiences in the fields of reconstruction and development.
