For his part, the Undersecretary of the Libyan Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Mohamad Issa, expressed his gratitude for this important step, which will strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Libya and Germany.

He said that this step will encourage other diplomatic missions to return to resume their work from inside Libya, stressing the keenness of the Government of National Unity to provide all facilities for the work of the German diplomatic mission and all diplomatic missions operating in Libya.

He expressed hope that the consular section of the embassy will start providing services and facilities with regard to granting visas to citizens to enter Germany as soon as possible.
